Tehran is willing to restart nuclear negotiations with Washington provided that it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has stated.

The Iranian diplomat declared solely negotiations was effective, and shared fresh requests had originated from mediators to restart discussions with the American leadership. He asserted Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Iran could not yet allow the global atomic watchdog to inspect bombed nuclear sites for protective measures.

Navigating a Challenging Course

Araghchi is navigating a difficult route since Iran does not want appear to be acting from a position of vulnerability, and he emphatically stated that Iran had emerged more powerful defensively and emotionally from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

He was addressing at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "an inalienable right to process nuclear material within its borders that it will perpetually retain" – the key factor of the impasse in the prior discussions.

Earlier Talks Unexpectedly Concluded

The previous five rounds of talks between the United States and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and acrimonious termination on 12 June when the Israeli government, with US support, struck Tehran's atomic facilities in a 12-day war that culminated with Donald Trump declaring the locations had been eliminated. Following this, EU nations employed their right to reimpose international penalties, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Perfect Agreement Proposed

Tehran representatives said they felt they had attained a "magic solution" to the uranium processing matter in prior discussions, when it was decided an domestic cooperative with Washington's engagement could enrich uranium. Both sides would have been able to declare success since local refinement would have remained and the US could be certain that Iran's nuclear programme was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been agreed in the negotiations that American atomic experts could operate on Iranian soil, but that was a reasonable assumption of the consortium proposal. Representatives stated on multiple occasions they had achieved a deal with Washington's diplomat Steve Witkoff only for the arrangement to disintegrate due to "spoilers in Washington".

Existing Situation

Iranian officials declared the consortium offer was now no longer available, but it seems highly likely the proposal could be revived in various formats if discussions restart.

The American leader last week stated he had been getting signals that Iran sought to resume discussions, but in private Iranian officials say they are not yet receiving consistent overtures from America either explicitly or from key regional mediators, such as the Qatari government, Egypt, Oman and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been criticized of non-responsiveness in the face of Washington's unmediated tactics, but Iran asserts negotiations is not part of a show.

Negotiating Standpoint

In his remarks to the conference, aimed to paint the US as a controlling nation that exploits the notion of worldwide standards, the foreign minister declared the fortnight-long engagement demonstrated the conflict could not be ended by military means. He asserted the strikes commenced with a American requirement for an unconditional Iranian surrender and ended with an unconditional call for a ceasefire.

Iran is certain the opening assaults from Tel Aviv were carried out with complete American awareness and collaboration, making faith hard to reestablish.

Negotiations Remains the Ultimate Resolution

The foreign minister stated: "Tehran was not the one that had fled negotiations; it was the United States and the European states that had always sought to enforce their desires during the talks. Diplomacy can still be active and stays the primary answer to address disputes, but its criteria, rules and tenets must be adhered to."

"Provided that they address to the Iranian people with the language of respect and honor, they will get a reply in the equivalent language."

Restoration and Rebuilding

In what is described by Tehran representatives as the battle of restoration and reconstruction, Araghchi claimed he was assured Iran's military capacities "are much stronger than before 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been rebuilt. We learned many lessons from this conflict; we have identified our personal limitations and the vulnerabilities of the enemy."

He added: "We successfully passed this engagement. Our atomic expertise, which they intended to obliterate, remains in place. The installations and equipment, if eliminated, will be restored; what is crucial is the resolve of the citizens of Tehran and then the social solidarity that they sought to undermine, but failed to destroy. The Iranian people have developed more powerful, more united, and more supportive of the government and the country in the aftermath of this invasion."
