Residents reported giant hailstones as large as seven centimeters in certain regions. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that multiple regions across Queensland had been impacted by large hailstones.

Rescue organizations handled over five hundred emergency reports across the state, mainly for property damage but also for downed trees and water accumulation.

Humid circumstances were expected to linger along much of the state's eastern regions this week as a atmospheric system continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
The following day was predicted as the most rainy day, with ongoing severe weather risk expected across various areas of both states.
Health Warning
Public health experts cautioned that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the state's northern country region, specifically given the current weather patterns.
This caution comes after previous incidents where similar conditions led to significant health impacts in the area.
